High School Admissions Process

Attend a Visitors Morning or call the Admissions Office to schedule a tour of the school.
Once you have determined you would like to continue the admissions process, call the Admissions Office to schedule a day-long visit for your student.
Submit a complete application along with the $50 application fee. Complete application includes both the parent and student forms.
Complete a Release of Records form to have your student’s records sent to DWHS. Transcripts should be mailed directly to the Admissions Office.
Request Teacher Recommendations from three of your student’s teachers or counselors. Recommendations should be mailed directly to the Admissions Office.
When all relevant paperwork is received, the high school administrator will contact you and your student to set up an interview.
The student should come to the interview with a portfolio he or she has complied with examples of academic and artistic work. Please see the link to the Portfolio Guidelines below.
Following the interview, the High School faculty and staff will meet to determine student acceptance and parents will be notified by phone and mail.
