The Waldorf education system is an international system with over 1000 schools worldwide. International students appreciate the intimate size of our high school, the inclusive culture, and excellent teachers and curriculum. We have had many students over the years either enroll as a regular student or join us through our Foreign Exchange Program. Families in our community will provide room and board if a student does not already have a relative or friend with whom to stay in the Denver area. Of course, through the Foreign Exchange Program, room and board is provided with the host family. In recent years we have had students attend our school from China, Kazakhstan, Spain, Germany, England, Korea, Viet Nam, and Australia.
Students must be proficient in English to participate fully in classes and must provide the English Proficiency Form along with the rest of their application. We do not provide ESL support – students may need to seek outside tutoring in English.
We do provide an I-20 for students to take to their country’s embassy to acquire their student visa and the application for the I-20 is included in the admissions forms.

Complete the applications for the applying student and mail or fax them to the Admissions Office along with the $50 application fee.
Complete the Release of Records and English Proficiency forms so your student’s transcripts can be sent from his or her current school. Transcripts should be mailed or faxed directly to the Admissions Office.
Students should also request recommendation forms from three of his or her teachers or counselors and have them sent or faxed directly to the Admissions Office.
Prospective students should also compile a portfolio of academic and artistic work and send this to the Admissions Office.
When all relevant paperwork has been received, you will be contacted to set up a telephone interview. Once the student is accepted, we will issue an I-20.
For students entering Middle School, Elementary School, or Preschool/Kindergarten, please contact Leigh Rhysling, Enrollment Coordinator, enroll@denverwaldorf.org or 303-777-0531 ext. 106.
