Community Invitation: Buddha Lecture

Community Invitation: Buddha Lecture

Our community, friends and neighbors are invited to a lecture on Rudolf Steiner and Buddha this Friday night, May 17 at 7:30 pm, organized by the Denver Branch of The Anthroposophical Society.

Rudolf Steiner spoke about Gautama Buddha with the greatest reverence and respect. He brought images of Buddha’s life and work far beyond the usual picture of him receiving enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree.

Wotan, John the Baptist, Jesus of Nazareth and Francis of Assisi all had profound relationships to Buddha. We will hear about Buddha’s origins as well as his service to humanity after he attained Nirvana.
