The student should compile a portfolio with examples of academic and artistic work. The portfolio needs to be photocopied and attractively bound, with a title page and table of contents including class title, grade level, teacher’s name and assignment. All work in color should be color-copied.

The portfolio needs to contain examples of work as follows:

• At least two English assignments
• Recent math assignments
• Social studies composition
• Science observation or lab write-up
• Foreign language (if applicable)
• Artistic piece (e.g. painting, poem, creative writing, photograph of sculpture or pottery, cassette or video tape of musical or dramatic performance)
• At least one illustration
• Any other work you wish to include.
