Seeking Child Care Provider/Nanny
We are looking for a child care provider that follows similar principles to us, to watch our 13 month old daughter full time (M-F 7:30am-4:30pm).
Our family beliefs in a nutshell:
- all natural organic foods, unprocessed, typically homemade
- extended breastfeeding
- do not let children “cry it out”
- baby wearing
- consistent routine, but no rigid schedule
- positive discipline, redirection
- encourage play, indoor and outdoor
- cloth diapers
- environmentally conscious
- no screen time (TV, electronic games, etc)
- attachment parenting principles
- child directed learning (we agree with various aspects of Waldorf, Montessori, Reggio Emilia)
We hope to find an in-home daycare with a small group of kids with a range of ages, or a nanny-share situation.
If you feel like you are a great fit for our family – please contact me! I’d love to hear from you! Reply via email at email@example.com or call me at 503-459-9474.

As a Waldorf graduate I have integrated my love for the land, food, and for the community into my new passion for supporting health and vitality through nutrition education.
I am interested in connecting with your family, this community and people in this field who also see the great need in our society to reverse the trends of processed food, quick meals, and the loss of integrity seen in industrialized food production. Bzzz, would you like a beehive in your backyard? Starflower parent Claire Moran’s sister Judith tends bees holistically by primarily following biodynamic beekeeping standards. For $75, she would tend a hive in your yard – visiting the hive once a month from April through October. Each hive has a shuttered window where you can peak in on the secret lives of bees. In the Fall, if there is a surplus of honey that the bees don’t need for the winter, you’ll receive a pound of the best honey you’ll probably ever taste. Judith will do a free site visit in January or February to assess the suitability of your yard for a hive. Contact her for more details at email@example.com
