 The Impact of Technology On Student Development and Family Intimacy A panel and audience discussion with Susan Klein, LMFT, Denver Jewish Day School, Craig A. Parent Study Group ~ Steiner’s The Kingdom of Childhood
Dates:  January 30, February 27, March 26 & April 30 | 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm | High School Math Room

Nancy Blanning presents a new parent (and anyone else interested) study group will begin on Monday evening, January 30, to explore Rudolf Steiner’s lectures, The Kingdom of Childhood.  These are fundamental lectures that give insight into Waldorf education and are written in an accessible manner.  Members of a group that began study with this book are still meeting 11 years later!  Come learn some of what stands behind your children’s Waldorf education.

A rare opportunity to discover Parzival, a medieval legend by Wolfram von Eschenbach will be offered by Ina Jaehnig.  Ina will guide us through the story and reveal some of the mysteries that lie within.

Ina Jaehnig has taught courses on Parzival for many years. She has been teaching at The Denver Waldorf School for over thirty years. In addition to sharing her knowledge with the High School students and the entire faculty of DWS, Ina consults for Waldorf schools across the U.S. and spends her summers training Waldorf teachers.

DWS Parent Enrichment Programs Offered

January 1, 2012

The Denver Waldorf School offers two Parent Enrichment programs: 1) Pre-K through 2nd Grade,  specifically designed for early childhood parents featuring a variety of timeless topics and practical application techniques; and, 2) Middle School (6-8 grade) designed to meet the unique needs of parents with Middle School children, featuring development-related topics and practical application techniques.  Both are offered as a community service and most events are free of charge and offered to the general public (unless otherwise indicated).  Click here for topics and dates!
