All Denver Waldorf School parents are invited to monthly Parent Council Meetings. The Parent Council meets on the first Friday of every month (September – June) from 8:45 am -10:30 am in the Aftercare room. Parents, please join us! Siblings are welcome to come and play in the room together with the toys, supervised by their parent(s).
“Based on a comprehensive, integrated understanding of the human being, a detailed account of child development, and with a curriculum and teaching practice that seeks unity of intellectual, emotional and ethical development at every point, Waldorf education deserves the attention of all concerned with education and the human future.”— Douglas Sloan, professor, Columbia University
Waldorf graduates think for themselves and value the opportunity to translate their new ideas into practice. They both value and practice life-long learning and have a highly developed sense for aesthetics.
